Our Vision
GRAMA is a project initiated by EarthCare , to support the village community through initiatives in crafts, nature products & responsible businesses.
Grama means “Village” in Sanskrit and the word is synonymous with all the products we sell. All our products are crafted in villages.
Our community give back policy ensures benefits for the villagers who are associated with us.

Our History
The story of EarthCare happened in Poochackal, a sleepy village near Alappuzha, Kerala.
EarthCare was formed seeing a need for support to the local community. Now EarthCare has emerged as a bread earner, not only for families in our village, but also for many more families.
The primary beneficiaries of the project through direct or indirect employment are women, since they are the pillar of the household.
Our Beneficiaries
We work with different Co-ops/ Organizations/ Individuals/ Women SHGs to create sustainable products and communities.
Giving life to a fifty year old weavers co op for producing quality 100% Cotton handloom towels, Supporting a Women SHG with contract for manufacture of Herbal Handcrafted soaps, Supporting local artisans by marketing their products and creating own environment friendly products are all part of our activities.

The Founders Seema Soby Kurian & Soby Jose Kurian, are passionate about the heritage they have, the village they live, the cause they support, the nature they inhabit and the things they do.
